Project details
This project explores the use of network indicators to simplify the complex task of predicting traffic patterns in The Netherlands, given the extensive traffic data available. By uncovering the relationship between network indicators and traffic data, the problem becomes more manageable and visuals become easier to interpret. If correlated, network indicators can replace the need for extreme data. This approach not only improves visualisation and prediction capabilities, but also makes it possible to estimate traffic dynamics with less data. This user-friendly method can potentially improve our understanding and anticipation of traffic scenarios.
